Dr. Acharya was born and raised in Dang, Nepal. After graduating from Chitwan Medical College under full government scholarship, he practiced Internal Medicine in rural Nepal for 2 years and served many communities with limited resources. Dr. Acharya also worked with non-profit organizations such as the Health Foundation Nepal and Karma Health which drove his passion for serving rural communities and participating in research. Internal Medicine is his passion and outside of medicine, he loves playing guitar and singing.
